Our Services
Group Training
Skills can be acquired through continuous training. We offer monthly group training to children in basic life skills through fun, activities, explorations, etc. Periodical evaluation of homework will be part of the training.
Individual Mentoring
A stable, dependable and motivating relationship is crucial to the integral development of these children. We provide mentors who develop a warm-hearted relationship with these children through constant interactions. They act according to the mentoring plan for each child prepared in consultation with mental health professionals.
Counselling
Counselling plays an irreplaceable role in unlearning certain behaviour patterns and healing past wounds. We offer professional counselling to children whenever required.
Tuition for the Inmates of Orphanages or Poor Boarding homes
Academic performance is a key factor in the integral development of children. We support children by providing voluntary teachers for tuition. For this purpose, we have formed a network of retired school teachers.
Skyteens Life Skills Training
With basic life skills, a person is capable of facing the day-to-day challenges of life. Apart from providing life skills to the children of orphanages and poor boarding homes, we provide life skills training to children in selected schools at various intervals.
Raise n Arise Life Skills Workshop
Skychild organizes a residential vacation programme for teenagers to train them in basic life skills through various activities. We focus on life skills like self-awareness, confidence building, decision-making, stress and emotion management, interpersonal relationship management, creative thinking, critical thinking and management of addictions.
Workshop for Caregivers
Skilled caregivers are crucial to the integral development of children in orphanages and boarding homes. We organize workshops for caregivers where they acquire professional skills to overcome the challenges they face.
Networking of the Care Homes for Children
A common platform where children from various orphanages and boarding homes can come together to express themselves is a way to support them. We develop a network of these homes and conduct various common activities to bring out the hidden potential of the children.
